DESCRIPTION:ALL SCHOOL PICNIC \nNEW LOCATION \nMUNSTER COMMUNITY PARK \n  \nTo:                          MCS children and siblings \nMCS parents\, friends\, and relatives \nMCS staff \n  \nMeet us at Munster Community Park to celebrate the start of summer!! \n  \nAll children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult. \n  \nWhere:                   Munster Community Park – Munster\, Indiana. \nRotary Shelter \n  \nWhen:                     Friday\, June 9\, 2023 – NO RAIN DATE \n  \nTime:                      11:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. \nSCHOOL IS NOT IN SESSION ON JUNE 9. \n  \nThe rental time of the shelter includes both the setup\, picnic time\, and cleaning time.  No additional time is permitted on the day of the rental. \n  \nPLEASE\, NO WATER BALLOONS. \n  \nMenu:                     Provide your own lunch and beverage. \n  \nAmenities:              Playground\, walking path\, and restrooms. \n  \nFeel free to bring your own sports equipment. \n  \nSee back for Munster Park Rules and Regulations. \n  \nParking:                  Parking is not allowed outside the marked parking areas. \nParking on grass\, sidewalks or pathways is prohibited. \n  \nMUNSTER COMMUNITY PARK \nRULES AND REGULATIONS \n  \nCHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT THE PLAYGROUND AT ALL TIMES. \n  \nNo park department property shall be removed from any park. \n  \nUse of glitter\, confetti\, and other small particulate items are prohibited. Use of these items will cause forfeiture of security/cleaning deposit. \n  \nIf the shelter is not properly cleaned after a rental\, the renter or organization will forfeit the $125.00 security/cleaning deposit\, and Munster Parks and Recreation will assess a $50.00 per hour fee for the time needed to clean the shelter. \n  \nAlcohol and fireworks are not allowed in any park. \n  \nSmoking is prohibited within fifteen (15) feet of any park patron\, spectators\, structure\, or play equipment. \n  \nNo grilling or open flames allowed in any parks. \n  \nGlass containers are prohibited. \n  \nPetting zoos\, pony rides\, dunk tanks\, etc. are prohibited. \n  \nSelling items to the public is prohibited. \n  \nVehicles are prohibited from driving on the grass\, sidewalks\, or pathways. \n  \n  \nThorguard Lightning Prediction System \n  \nThe Thorguard Lightning Prediction System was installed in the parks to warn patrons of the dangers of lightning.  When the 15-second warning horn sounds you should: \n  \n\nClear the park immediately or seek proper shelter.\n\n  \n\nDo not return to the park or move out of shelter until 3 short horn blasts\n\n  \n\nIf all clear sound does not sound after 30 minutes\, dangerous weather is still in the area and the activity should be cancelled.\n\n  \n\nStop and seek shelter anytime you believe lightning threatens you\, even if a signal has not been sounded\,\n\n
