Grandparents'

Day

Tuesday, April 17

Wednesday, April 18

Grandparents' Days are very special, but they can also be distracting.  For this reason, we have limited the days for these visits to the SCHEDULED DATES AND TIMES.  We know that you will understand, and we thank you for your cooperation.

Grandparents are welcome to come to school to visit the classroom, work with their grandchild, and meet classmates and friends.  We hope that you make this a "special" day for your child.  If a grandparent is not available on April 17 or April 18, a special family friend, aunt, or uncle may "play" grandparent for the day.

Please note the following:

Toddler grandparents are invited to visit between 8:45 A.M. and 11:00 A.M.  We recommend   that this special visit be no longer than one-half hour and that toddlers leave with their special visitor since separation at this age can be difficult.

Early childhood grandparents are invited to visit between 8:45 A.M. and 11:00 A.M. We
recommend that early childhood visits be no longer than one hour.

Kindergarten grandparents are invited to visit between 1:15 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.
Grandparents may pick their grandchild up at 12:00 noon if they would like to take them to
lunch prior to their visit.

Elementary grandparents are invited to visit in the afternoon.

Mrs. Martin’s class: pick up for lunch at 11:30 A.M.
return for classroom visit at 12:30 P.M.

Mrs. Brundige’s, Mrs. Kusiak’s, and Mr. Stan’s classes:
pick up for lunch at 12:00 noon
return for classroom visit at 1:00 P.M.

Please notify the school office if a “grandparent” is taking the student out for lunch and/or home after the visit.
